This t-shirt is spun, knitted and sewn in the north of Portugal, 2 hours away from our studio, using 50% pre-consumer recycled cotton and 50% organic cotton.
We developed this exclusive fabric by working closely with the mill to reduce the chemicals that are used in the manufacturing process as much as possible, such as bleaching, whitenings and other finishing processes.
We hand dyed this garment by first giving it a bath in catechu (extracted from an Indian acacia tree), then dipping it in iron water, to finally get this chocolate brown shade.Unlike synthetic dyes, natural and organic plant based dyes don't have any harmful chemicals that are toxic for your skin or for the environment.
This open-end jersey (240gr/m2 - 7oz/yd2) is a soft heavyweight fabric that can be worn all year round.
